Academic activities

Chair of South Asian Studies conducts studies on different languages and cultures of South Asia. Main areas of interest are as follows:
- South Asian languages and their literatures;
- culture and history of South Asia;
- religion, philosophy and art;
- Indian theatre;
- Indian folklore.

The Chair issues the annual "Studia Indologiczne"
