Library of
Faculty of Oriental Studies is the biggest oriental
library in Poland. At the end of 1999 the Library
comprised 194 205 volumes, among them 153 789 books and
35 188 magazines. Most of the collection is held and
available for readers at chairs/departments’ libraries.
The collection increases to about 3000 volumes a year.
Reading-room contains books of reference library and
chairs/departments’ libraries as well as Polish Academy
of Science Library, magazines and special collections.
