04.2002-11.06.2007 – Founder and President of Association ‘Schools for Peace’ (Stowarzyszenie Szko³y dla Pokoju), a humanitarian non-governmental organisation with the aim to provide education for young people from the regions affected by poverty and neglect (including Afghanistan and Inner Asia). In these five years the Association ‘Schools for Peace’ constructed three school buildings in Northern Afghanistan (Qaramqul  near Andhkoi and Mohmandan near Balch) for approx. 2400 schoolgirls and schoolboys, sent a number of volunteer teachers of computers and English to teach in Afghanistan, collected and transported approx. 15 tonnes of schoolbooks, writing materials, computers, printers etc. The association was transformed in summer 2007 and now operates under the name Association ‘Education for Peace’ (Stowarzyszenie Edukacja dla Pokoju, www.edukacjadlapokoju.org).
